I am a writer, strategist and connector working at MIT Open Learning.  My background is in the humanities, with a doctorate in English at Northeastern University with a dissertation on contemporary American literature and film. At Northeastern, I was the 2013-2014 recipient of Northeastern’s Humanities Center Fellowship, a program that brings interdisciplinary scholars together to engage the university community in conversations on that year’s theme: viral culture. I have diverse experience in higher education teaching, tutoring and curriculum development, as well as curatorial and communications experience.

All of my work is driven by a passion to help foster community engagement and education in the arts and humanities.  The key values that motivate me are community, connection, equity and learning.
